The new members of the Perelson Weiner Tax Practice are Julia Willison, CPA, Matthew Pipitone, CPA, Yao Zhao, CPA, Sara Cohen, and Eric DeLuca, CPA, MST. "These individuals exemplify the diversity and talent we are attracting," Mr. Weiner said.
Julia Willison, Director, works effectively across global networks and with client advisors to develop and implement key planning and business strategies for high-net-worth clients and their businesses. Her knowledge and understanding of the changing landscape of tax law, policies and procedures, enables her to manage all aspects of a clients' needs including income tax, wealth transfer, and estate planning. She also has successfully represented clients resolving IRS and State tax controversies.
Matthew Pipitone and Yao Zhao, Tax Managers, are seasoned professionals with proven track records of servicing the day to day and long-range needs of high-net-worth individuals and businesses. Matthew brings extensive experience with domestic and foreign taxpayers, as well as complex compliance issues. Yao's has deep knowledge and work ethic has enabled her to excel in advising clients and resolving issues regarding appropriate tax positions and technical issues. Her experience includes sophisticated issues related to federal and multi-state personal, estate, trusts, and gift taxes, and related closely held partnership and S-Corps returns.
Sara Cohen, Tax Supervisor and Eric DeLuca, CPA, MST, Tax Senior, bring specialized knowledge and are experienced in working in a fast-paced team approach. "Our focus is on making a difference for our clients as opposed to just getting the job done. This has helped us attract and keep the best and the brightest as they are looking to be challenged and grow," Mr. Weiner said.
